In the afternoon, begin your Hanoi city tour with a visit to Ba Dinh Square, the largest and most important square in the capital, where major cultural and political events take place. View the exterior of the iconic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum before continuing to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070. Admire its beautiful gardens, traditional architecture, and historical significance.
Later, enjoy a leisurely walk around the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake, located in the heart of Hanoi. Continue exploring the vibrant Old Quarter, famous for its narrow streets, traditional shops, and local atmosphere. Known as the “36 Streets,” each lane was historically dedicated to a specific trade or craft.
