Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, Vietnam’s largest city and a major hub for commerce, culture, and history. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. After some time to relax and refresh following your flight, begin your afternoon exploration of this dynamic city.
Start with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, which provides a compelling insight into Vietnam’s wartime history through its extensive collection of exhibits and artifacts. Continue to the Reunification Palace, formerly the Independence Palace and an important symbol of Vietnam’s reunification. Later, enjoy a walking tour through the city center, passing notable landmarks such as City Hall, the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral (outside view only), and the colonial-era Central Post Office. Conclude the day at Ben Thanh Market, one of the city’s most famous marketplaces, offering a wide variety of local products, handicrafts, and souvenirs.
